WHY STAY WITH US?

An Outpost in the Wild

Besides the odd fishing dingy we are alone with the wild beauty of the ocean. The rich marine habitat is home to the parrots of the sea: the Atlantic Puffin. The sharp-eyed may even spot the occasional bottlenose dolphin or grey seal along our shores.

Out at Sea

Rooms offer great landscapes of sea and sand, lit up at night by the beam of the lighthouse. The salty sea breeze, the gentle roar of the ocean, and the delicious fresh sea food leave a lasting imprint on the senses.

 A Dose of Nature’s Medicine

The uncompromising beauty and gentle calm of the seaside is a natural remedy to the stresses of everyday life. Retreat to our spa, bathe in the sun, or huddle up by the crackle of a warm fire. Here you can rest and recover.

OUR STORY

Euwen, a high-flyer in the world of Parisian antique dealing, stumbled upon the then dilapidated seafront manor on a stormy afternoon hike. Spotting him drenched in rain, the owning Seznec family invited him in with custom Bretton hospitality.  Over dinner Euwen learnt that the family were looking to sell. Mesmerised by the historic building, a dream was hatched for Euwen. Weeks later he returned with an offer to transform the home into a hotel.

Euwen now welcomes guests with the same hospitality that he once experienced on a stormy afternoon.
